From Ban Laem to Mae Klong      = Mae Klong Western Line

The market is one of Thailand's most famous markets.
Made a plan to visit there for the first time with a 2 day schedule on 2018.

  Summary of the trip plan  

1. From Wongwian Yai to Mahachai by Eastern Line.
2. Preview the Ban Leam station and Stay one night in Mahachai.
3. From Ban Laem to Mae Klong by Western Line.
4. Walking around the market and the station area.
5. From Mae Klong to Wongwian Yai.

From Wongwian Yai to Mahachai by Eastern Line.

So, first, I will head to Maha Chai station.
This is about 1 hour trip to the terminal station.
The fare is 10 baht for one way for one person.

  Wongwian Yai Station

Ticket office.
Bought a train ticket to leave at 12:15.

The train stop time is about 30 minutes.
In the meantime, took a walk on the platform.

Shops of food and clothing are lined up.

Some shops were hard to understand.
I wonder that what kind of store is it.

Trip from Sungaikorok to Bangkok 3 of 3 : State Railway of Thailand

Railway line : Southern Main Line
Until arrive to Bangkok station.

I reserved a sleeper train seat to leave at 14:45 o'clock.
Made a plan to arrive in Bangkok at 9 o'clock the next morning.
Considering the activities in Bangkok, decided it was the best choice.

On Hat Yai Junction

Hotel check-out time was 12 o'clock.
About 3 hours to depart.
Kept my bag at the station and took a walk around the station.

The train arrived on the platform.

This is the train from this station.
Therefore, unlike passing trains there was time to spare.

Inside the sleeper car.
Toilet and wash basin.

Arrived to Bangkok

At this time, arrival was delayed for more than one hour.

It was a train trip of nearly 19 hours.
It was good choice to use a sleeper train.
Because there was almost no damage on the body.

Trip from Sungaikorok to Bangkok 2 of 3 : State Railway of Thailand

Railway line : Southern Main Line
Until arrive to Hat Yai station.

The train departed somewhat late on time.

Inside the train

It is the inside of the train that got on.
The seats are made of wood. It is hard.
Spent more than 4 hours in this state.

After departing from Sungaikorok station, security guards carrying a rifle appears.
Felt slightly anxious.

Arrived at Tanyong Mat station.

This station is a relatively large station.
For that reason, there was a security guard carrying a rifle on the platform.

Focused on enjoying scenery from train window.

However, the sight like a picture jumps into my eyes.
I saw them as soldiers but not guards.

This is a Thai-like scene.

There were lots of rifles in the station facilities.
At this time, I remembered that many terrorist attacks occurred in southern Thailand.
Hoped sincerely to arrive to Hat Yai station safely.

The time was almost about to be lunch time.
People selling meals will appear on the platform.

This is curry, fried chicken and white rice.
Banana leaves are used for dishes.
It had a very good smell.
But I was feeling security and losing my appetite.

Passed through Na Muang station.
Next is today's destination.

The building in the city has come to see.

The Hat Yai station came into view.

Thus the train trip for about 4 hours is over.
My butt hurts very much.
But it was good that I could arrive safely.
Stayed one night in Hat Yai on this day.

Selected a railway as transportation from Malaysia to Bangkok..
Stayed one night at Sungaikorok and got on the train from early morning.

3. Go to Bangkok by sleeper train
